In our homeschool, we cherish our "Mindful Mondays." Once a week, we step outside to engage in breathing exercises, recite nature affirmations, and make observations that we jot down in our journals. On days when the Texas weather cooperates, our entire school day unfolds in the great outdoors. This weekly practice grounds us, fostering a deeper connection to Mother Earth and her precious gifts.
